Soudal High Tack Stud Adhesive is a ready-to-use, high-strength adhesive designed for bonding drywall panels to both timber and steel studs.

Applications

• Bonding drywall panels, internal plasterboard, and fibre cement wallboard to timber and certified metal studs
• Used for wall and ceiling installations
• Fixing decorative elements such as cornices and skirting boards

Suitable Surfaces

• Works on porous and non-porous materials like timber, concrete, various metals, many plastics, polystyrene, and other standard building materials
• Not suitable for PE, PP, or PTFE
• Ensure surfaces are dry, clean, stable, and free of dust and grease

Application Instructions

• Apply adhesive at temperatures between +5°C and +35°C
• Boards should be installed according to the manufacturer’s guidelines
• Always use in combination with mechanical fasteners
• Apply adhesive to the stud using a spatula or in a dot (approx. 25x15mm), then press firmly
• Maintain a minimum distance of 200mm between adhesive and mechanical fixings

Wall Applications:

• Apply adhesive at 300mm intervals and 200mm from board edges

Ceiling Applications:

• Apply adhesive at 230mm intervals and 200mm from board edges
• Position wallboard onto studs before adhesive skins over

Shelf Life & Storage

• 24 months in unopened packaging
• Store in a cool, dry place between +5°C and +25°C
• Do not allow product to freeze
